Poetry lovers of Patna unite for a cause

“Chalo aaj fir kuchh likhta hoon/ Sabdo ke aar mein kuch lamho ko bunta hoon/ Betiyaan Na Banana Mohe Fir Se/ Beti hone ka bojh dho rahi hoon kab se” — these were the lines from a poem recited by Ishan Paul at recently concluded poetry slam held at Kankarbagh. The venue was almost jam packed with poetry lovers. The event saw a participation of students from various reputed institution of Patna.Such an event was organised for the first in Patna with an object to popularise it in the same way it is popular across the country. Ishaan Paul, organiser of the event, said, “It is a welcome step by these youngsters of Patna.''
Prerna Pratap, one of the participants, said, “The event once again highlighted the fact that Patnites love art, culture and literature.''
